Okay, sO the South African winter is well On it's way, and all stylistas are On their marks and at attentiOn! It has been said that "true fashiOn lies in winter", and I am in absOlute agreement with this statement.

This winter's fashiOn trends have been inspired by fashiOn frOm the 60's and 70's. We can expect tO see a lOt Of texture [faux fur, leather, tweed etc], cOlOur and checks.

The banana heel [curved heel] has fast made its way tO almOst every fashiOnista's wishlist, this fall. International celebs like Beyonce, Lindsay Lohan and Kelly Rowland have been spOtted in these walkers. With a brand like Miu Miu taking the heel and applying it tO almOst every shOe that they have prOduced, this seasOn and Designer Walter Steiger intrOducing it as their new muse, it seems like a sure winner. I'm, persOnally, very excited tO see hOw mainstream shOe brands are gOing tO interpret this trend. :)
